nice, but not a viking. vikings did not have horns on their helmets, their shields were round and swords were totally different from this on the drawing. This man here can be a medieval knight with weak armour and "custom hat"
Yea they did. They had horn helmets for their everyday outfit. It has been recorded and history. They didn't where them for battle though. P.S. the vikings didn't have many swords. They didn't have hand;es at that time. And who care a shield is a shield.
only one viking helmet with horns on it has been found, it was huge (far more bigger than a normal helmet) and made for some ritual purpose. For their everyday outfit there weren't any special clothes. They didn't wear any hats nor special helmets with horns to look cooler or whatever. One reason why people think they had horns on their helmets is because raven wings on Odin's helmet may look like horns. Second reason is that christians came up with this legend to describe vikings as barbaric as possible.
For the swords, there were a few styles for them, but the main features were alike, some examples are shown here: [link]
That's true shield is a shield, but no viking could have a shield that looks like one that came to use about three hundred years after vikings' age. And a proof that they used only round shields is that if you look at any viking ship, then on the borders you see round shields, isn't that right?
Yea true. I bought an ancient viking knife and it didn't have a handle and I'm all like "WHAT THE HECK!" Yea there shields were round because they didn't really shape them much. They just melted the bronze and hoped it turned out right it was never a perfect circle.
their shields were made of wood and in the middle there was a forged iron "bowl" to protect their hands. Second metal part is the frame around the shield, but sometimes there is no frame... I don't know where you take your weird information from

No, no. The helmets with horns were characteristics given by Christians to compare the Vikings to the devil, to the people who don't knew. Then, with that kind of "vision" about them, they were really feared by the people who thought they were representations of the devil, because of their polytheistic religion. The christians wanted to crush their religion and convert them, so that excuse has convinced many people to be against them. Still convincing today. There is no proof that the vikings wore helmets with horns, according to those who have been found in excavations until today. The only ever found were conical helmets, without any kind of horn. You, being scandinavian, should know that...
Anyone who studied the Nordic culture, know about that... A fact (at least until now).
They were raiders and warriors. My ancestor Hrolfr (Who's Grandson was Rollo Rolf (No this wasn't his blood name it was his foreign name)-hero to Normandy, France) was banished from Norway because he raided a village after the King had announced the viking rein to come to an end. You need to do more research before you blurt that out to the public. They were people and had family's etc. But they believed if you didn't die in war you would go to a land ruled by Hel daughter of the God of mischief Loki. And it's not a good place to go. If you died of old age, illness, or suicide you went to this land. I'm not saying they didn't have good points they ate any animal they had that died of old age including sheep and oxen. They had a lot of traits similar to native americans. Infact they were the first people to find North America. My family pass down the viking traditions even to today. You obviously aren't Scandinavian so what rights do you have to talk about our people and be all high and mighty about your belief? Do us all a favor and stick to your own ancestors I'm sure your better at that.
